DESCRIPTION:Den Namen des Viertels hat jeder schon gehört\, aber nur wenige wissen um die schönen Besonderheiten dieses Bezirks zwischen dem Alten Südfriedhof und der Isar. Dort fließt noch ein Stadtbach und es finden sich viele sehenswerte Häuser aus der Zeit um 1900. Beherrscht wird das Gebiet von der neuromanischen Pfarrkirche St. Maximilian\, die noch Reste der Jugendstilausstattung birgt. Eine umfassende Sanierung machte das beliebte Viertel mit seinen schönen Mietshäusern der Gründerzeit nun zu einer teuren Wohngegend.  \n
